This week we had a field trip day on wednesday which means that if your class has a field trip planned you go on that and if not then you have the day off. Since none of my courses had a field trip I decided to go out to the Banks Peninsula only about 45 minutes or so from caps for some sight seeing. We went "adventuring" around the peninsula, driving down random back roads to fairly unknown locations (we had a rough map of the area). Found some really cool places, ate great Blue Cod fish and chips in Akaroa, saw a penguin and enjoyed the great weather!
